Belly's Raw Thoughts 04.11.13

OK, here we go again with my Raw Thoughts (usual exclaimer applies, this is not a review but simply my thoughts as the show progresses)

HOUR 1

So we kick off with no recap this week, I guess this is WWE's way of acknowledging last week was an awful show and doesnt want to remind people of it.  Instead we are starting the show with CM Punk coming out and its a match to begin rather than a segment, makes a pleasant change..

Oh I spoke to soon, here comes a recap of the upcoming PUSH of the Wyatts against CM Punk etc... Was a short recap though so ill let them off and here comes the Waytts and I do love their entrance and their music.

So its CM Punk taking on Luke Hogwin.. I mean Harper and although this match was won by CM Punk, he won it with a roll up and it was 90% dominated by Luke Harper and this was obviously designed to put over the Wyatts, but made no sense against the longest reigning wwe champ of modern era... Post Match beat down as D-Bry comes out to make the save and Punk n Bryan stand tall (after using a weapon) .. I want to see D-Bry and Punk headline WM against each other for the WWE Title.. not standing side by side against the Wyatts...

Now we got a clip of HHH talking about Big Shows million dollar lawsuit and HHH saying that Big Show is banned from the WWE for life... hmmm, I will put a million dollars that we see Big Show on WWE tv tonight.. anyone wanna take the bet???

Paul Heyman live via telephone... not seen this in a while... Basically, he got a bad back and kidneys and is in europe seeking alternative treatments blah blah, writing Heyman out probbaly until Brock returns..

Ryback is out next, and it looks like he has gone back to his boring bully segments as he picks on hornswoggle backstage... Boring... Ryback going 1 on 1 against Kahli next... So Ryback wins, so as usual he can win the lower card guys but never wins the big match... same as usual for Boreback

ADR vs Kofi is next and ADR wins a predictable match with the usual spots and near finish for Kofi before ADR locks in the cross arm breaker for the win...

Now highlights of Big Show and his lawsuit etc... and it shows the plaintiff as "Big Show" not even acknowledging his real name whcih is weird considering they did acknowledge his name when he first signed to WWE at Valetines Massacre and now they dont... lol...

HOUR 2

Here comes Randy Orton for a 'people vote' match and as his opponent they choose...     Big E Langston... Big E puts up a good showing but it was another obvious winner for the match as Randy hits the RKO out of nowhere and gets the win

More Big Show highlights and then a WWE Poll about the biggest title change and obviously the last WM got the vote, because its only going to be kids that vote and they wouldnt remember back to WM 6 etc... Obvious WWE Poll

Here comes Summer Rae.. wooo oh crap, her valet is here as well, such a shame... here comes Natalia and Tyson Kidd... Mixed Tag Team match and some talk about Tyson Kidds wedding to Natalia and they showed a clip and Michael Cole's line of "This one really happened" i found funny ha. Tyson Kidd wins with a Sharpshooter...

Backstage Interview with Sandow after highlights of his failed Cash In, still calling himself the uncrowned world Champion, but it was saved by Zeb Colter interupting.. WE THE PEOPLE... (not for the Real Americans, but i just like Zeb)

Here comes Cena for a 6 Man tag match with Cody and Goldust vs Real Americans and Sandow, but first Cena has to do the "Susan G Coman" speach about curing cancer etc...  The match starts after the break and ADR is on commentary... Cena, Goldust and Cody Rhodes wins, after an awesome moonsault from Cody Rhodes then a move from Cena and finished off by Goldust and the bizarre one gets the pin on Sandow.

Hour 3

Another Big Show highlight package of the lawsuit etc... We seen this same one like 3 times now... Soo annoying...

Here is Big Show walking backstage... I wonder if this means we will start seeing Benoit DVDs now, because he was banned from WWE, but if Big Show can be shown on WWE tv this much after being banned, then Benoit is going to be all over WWE DVD this winter...

HHH going mad because he banned Show, then Steph comes in and says she let him in because the Board wants this whole thing over with etc...  the Board is demanding that HHH and Steph settle with Big Show haha...

Dolph Ziggler is out next and he is taking on Curtis Axel, I guess this will show the extent of Dolph Ziggler's burial as to whether he can beat a Heyman-Less Axel... Dolph wins... maybe he is taking the first step to redeeming himself..

Uso's out next and they taking on 3MB... if 3MB win this id be very surprised... Guess what... I wasnt surprised... Uso's win.

Los Matadors interview backstage and they show a highlight package of their recent matches... Boring.. forced Pushing them down our throats.. Soo annoying.. Fast Forward...

Well we had a 6 man tag match, so now i guess we get a 6 woman match... with The Bellas and Eva Marie vs Tamina, AJ and Auxanna and Eva Maie scoops up Tamina with a school boy and Eva Marie wins.. she even looked awful doing a schoolboy roll up and yet this woman who is hated backstage and cant even roll someone up convincingly, pins Tamina...

Here comes HHH and Steph to the ring and they invite out Big Show, as they are going to apparently settle... Oh Boy, i been looking forward to this... Honestly... (does sarcasm come across well.. If i wasnt writing this, Id have already turned off, knowing how this will probbaly end, hint.. We havnt seen Shield tonight) HHH acts the school boy mindset as Big Show says its not about mney, he just wants his job back... Steph cuts off HHH just as he was about to insult big show and tell him to go to hell... Steph gives Show his job back... the crowd chant Yes... Big Show wants a bonus t go along with his job, Big Show wants to be the face of WWe, Steph starts to insult big show and HHH interupts and now, here comes The Shield.. surprise surprise... HHH now acts all cocky, and Show reminds him he hasnt settled yet... Show wants a title match at Survivor Series, big shock... HHH plays hard ball, Big Show walks off blah blah blah... Nice t see a comical side of Big Show and HH conceeds and gives Show his match...

HHH puts Big Show into a 4 on 1 handicap match... Show vs Shield and Orton..     Doesnt last long as its Tornado rules and its just a beat down on Big Show.. Big Show is fighting back as out comes a Mask-less corporate Kane in a suit and tie haha...  Kane doesnt do anything as Shield and Orton attack Big Show and dismantle him, end show...

Very anti climatic, somber and quiet end to the show..
